Free versus paid-for information - your views wanted
Tell us what you think in the second Kompass Poll, in association with UKeIG
CILIP members are invited to take part in a new online survey from Kompass Publishing. This is the second in a new series of regular corporate opinion polls that leading business information provider Kompass is carrying out in collaboration with UKeIG, the UK eInformation Group - a special interest group of CILIP: the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals.
From time to time, Kompass takes the pulse of opinion among information users on the issues that matter to them now. The first poll, carried out in June looked at EU expansion and the impact it will have on information needs.
The latest survey consists of six questions on the use of free and paid-for business information and is designed to be completed in three minutes or less. The results will be published on the CILIP, UkeIG and Kompass websites. It is hoped that the series of surveys will build into a comprehensive reading of the views of key information and business specialists.
