Forgive me if I missed a previous posting about this. I recently received
details on a proposed subscription to NEJM through EBSCO, with contributions
from each SHA. Being from a small SHA, I would prefer our proposed
contribution to be based on a headcount, rather than a flat sum from each
SHA. Has anyone on this list tried negotiating with EBSCO?
Thanks,
Pam

We tried to negotiate a deal with NEJM last year but they were not prepared
to quote for the whole of the NHS in England. From the core content point
of view we do not have any spare budget this year to purchase additional
journal material.
When you look at their editoiral board and their answers to comments it is
clear they do not have a clue about the NHS
