Has anyone here seen "Zatoichi: The Blind Swordsman"?
If so what did you think of it?
I thought it was great, another masterpeice from the great Takeshi
Kitano. In my opinion he has a really cool cinematographic style. He
doesn't really use MUCH background music like American films but when
he does it is really affective.
I also think that in "Zatoichi" the whole tap dance to the music stuff
was an attempt to get his film a bit "American".
But it was a good movie.
What else...Kitano also really mixes his films up with the perfect
balance of humour and action, making his movies really enjoyable to
watch - well to me at least.
What do you guys think of him, his movies and his film-style?
