There has been a very good thread on trains some time
ago. Have a look in the archives. If not, it might
have been at h-film. It was about train imagery (train
as life, journey, change, progress, ...), the effect
on editing and rhythm. Worth having a look back. Good
Luck.
Some films that occur to me:
Train de Vie
Silver Streak
Narrow Margin
Murder on the Orient Express
Trans Europe Express
Horror Express
La Roue
