well, i can name a few flicks-- be warned tho, no martial arts and
they're all more or "newschool realist" movies- you know what i mean,
these movies without a plot, long winded shots and minimal conversation.
you just have to love them!
all korean...
Nakta (dul) (AKA "Camels") [b/w minimal rel.ship drama]
At the Turning Gate [kinda like above, but in color..he]
Lies [Scandal!]
Address Unknown [Ki-duk Kim actually making a good film, no pseudo-zen
shmuck for once]
The Road Taken [based on a real story, prisoner for life sticks to his
ideals]
A Good lawyer's wife [well executed & beautifully shot marriage drama
without the usually obnoxious korean "actors" (read: catalogue models)]
all of these above i found excellent. check them out!
i wish i could still remember the titles of all the other korean movies
which i hated. that list is much longer, sadly.
