U.S. always seems to suit me rather than getting more long-winded with
USAmerican etc. (does anyone know of another U.S. it could be mistaken for
???).
Swimming To Cambodia is all about Spalding Gray's splits between the world
he sees, the world he expects and the world the local people live in... but
it depends how you feel about talking/spitting heads movies.
Bollywood Calling gives an interesting take on Indian perceptions of
Hollywood (aging) film stars, Lost In Translation sounds (to me) very much
like a tweaking of that, but with an American (coincidentally U.S.) co-star
too. Probably language difficulties or something </sarcasm>.
Other recent weirdness would be Last Samurai I guess...
Anna And The King / King And I would makes for interesting comparisons...
