CALL FOR AUTHORS
ENCYCLOPAEDIA OF FRENCH-AMERICAN RELATIONS
Dear Colleagues
I am editing an Encyclopedia of French-American Relations, understood in the broadest sense as 'the Americas', to be published by ABC-Clio in 2005. We are on the last lap of the project, but one of our authors has had to withdraw. We are urgently looking for contributors who can write a maximum of 1250 words on 'Hollywood's Paris', and 500 words each on Claudette Colbert, Michele Morgan, Louis Jouvet, Max Linder and Danielle Darrieux. We would also like to include if we can Gabrielle Dorziat, Arthur Freed, Ketti Gallian, Louis J. Gasnier, François Girard, William Klein, Denis Héroux, Francis Lai, and Bob Swaim. The reward is a free copy of the two-volume work or £30 sterling per 1000 words if a contributor does over 2000 words. The deadline is now tight: 31 March 2004, and preferably earlier.
I hope you find this of interest and look forward to hearing from you. If anyone has further queries, I can send them the rationale for the whole project and the complete list of entries. My email is: [log in to unmask]
Best wishes
