Peter,
First verify that your courses' batch_uid is the same as the course_id:
SQL> SELECT batch_id
FROM bb_bb60.course_main
WHERE course_id = 'Old-Id';
If they are the same, you can execute:
SQL> UPDATE bb_bb60.course_main
SET course_id = 'New-Id',
batch_uid = 'New-Id',
lower_course_id = LOWER('New-Id')
WHERE course_id = 'Old-Id';
SQL> UPDATE bb_bb60_stats.course_main
SET course_id = 'New-Id',
batch_uid = 'New-Id',
lower_course_id = LOWER('New-Id')
WHERE course_id = 'Old-Id';
SQL> COMMIT;
(If not, change (or drop) the batch_uid lines to meet your requirements.)
From a DOS prompt,
- change directory to the courses directory
(on linux it would be /blackboard/content/vi/bb_bb60/courses/1/, so
I'm guessing it would be \blackboard\content\vi\bb_bb60\courses\1\ on
windows)
- rename the course directory to the new id
DOS> rename Old-Id New-Id
Kind regards,
Herta
