You will join a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team working on large-scale
research into the molecular and genetic causes of cardiovascular disease in
one of Europe's premier Departments of Epidemiology - as follows.
Senior Medical Statistician/Epidemiologists (one post)
For large-scale cardiovascular studies
£24,097-£34,838 pa
Duration of appointment: five years
You should possess excellent post-graduate qualifications in Biostatistics
and/or Epidemiology with at least three years' work experience and a good
track record of publications in peer-reviewed journals. (For appropriately
qualified people who do not yet have sufficient experience in a senior role,
it may be possible to make an appointment on the Research Associate scale
£18,893-£28,279).
Statistician/Epidemiologist (two posts)
£18,893-£28,279 pa
Duration of appointment: to 31 August 2007
You should possess a relevant first or post-graduate degree with high
statistical content and have an understanding of epidemiological research
methods.
The posts will focus on the analysis and synthesis of large epidemiological
studies of heart disease.
