Course aims
* To introduce participants to the use of Bayesian methods in clinical
trials, observational studies, and cost-effectiveness analysis
* To provide introductory tutorials in the use of relevant software,
including WinBUGS
Target audience
* Statisticians working on health-care evaluation either in the public
sector or the pharmaceutical industry
* No experience of Bayesian methods or specialist software will be assumed
* Participants are encouraged to use their own laptops for practicals
