Hi,
This is another question about sample size. My project leader wants me to
calculate my required sample size for my project in a certain way. This is
what I currently have:
P{ abs(X/N - 18/37) > E ,given X ~ N(18N/37; 342N/372)} = alpha
where:
alpha - 0.01
beta - 0.01
E - epsilon (size difference between X/N and 18/37)
I have no idea how to calculate my sample size N. I would appreciate any
help on this.
Thanks,
