Clinical Scientist grade B, points 13 to 16, £26,097- 29,355 per annum

Location:       Cancer Research UK Clinical Centre, St James's University 
Hospital

The Biostatistician will play a key role in analysing proteomic data 
generated by a range of projects currently underway in several clinical 
areas.  This includes cancer, neurology and renal medicine with the main 
aims being to find new disease markers or therapeutic targets and 
potentially participate in proposed multi-centre studies. The comparison of 
existing statistical methods and the development/exploration of new methods 
is essential.  The post is based full-time - 37 hpw at St James's 
University Hospital.

You should possess a minimum of a good first degree in a mathematical, 
statistical or related subject and experience of statistical modelling of 
large complex datasets. You will be a team worker with an ability to 
develop original ideas. Knowledge of proteomics/genomics and experience in 
preparing written reports is desirable.
