Statistician
(3 years in first instance)
The post-holder will work in the Cancer Research UK Genetic Epidemiology
Division headed by Professor Tim Bishop. He or she will work as part of a
team of genetic epidemiologists and statisticians, clinicians, laboratory
and computing staff on a range of projects investigating the genetic
epidemiology of cancer, cardiovascular disease and other complex diseases.
Working in the analysis group headed by Dr Jenny Barrett they will apply
and develop study design and statistical analysis methods. Appropriate
training in these methods will be provided.
Candidates should possess a good first degree or higher degree in a
mathematical, statistical or related subject and have some previous
experience of data analysis.
Research Assistant /Officer on the RA1A/B scale £19,460 to £29,128
according to relevant experience
