Has anyone had any problems with their accreditation status attributable to the performance of tests of an immunological nature such as electrophoresis and immunoglobulin asay etc.? There are grey areas between Microbiology, Biochemistry and Haematology and to an extend "who-does-what " has often a historical than a professional basis . Some Microbiology departments are having problems here and I wonder whether Biochemistry is becoming ivvolved as well.
