Dear Steve,
I think these workshops sound very interesting but, unfortunately, I will
be unable to attend either of them as I am boycotting Nottingham
University, in line with the AUT's greylisting action, in order to bring
the management of Nottingham back to serious negotiations with AUT over the
implementation of a pay+grading package which is a serious attack on
earnings, career progression, and the concept of the academic team. I hope
I am not alone in finding it unfortunate that useful workshops are
organised at a University where the management is determined to show how
tough it is by undermining their own staff.
With best wishes
Jim Guild
