Two comments on the tutorial at http://odl.mmu.ac.uk
1 - An accessibility issue - it doesn't seem possible to change text
size.
2 - It does make the issue look rather complicated - you'll probably
say it IS complicated!
I just have a feeling it looks more complex when we start with the
wrongs instead of the rights. I'm not an academic (IT Services) but if I
were I think I would want to begin by describing academic integrity and
the ideals we aim for - doing things right (appropriate use of others'
work) and making it clear that we have done so (citing) - and then
define plagiarism as failing to do those things.
