This practical workshop will enable you to publish database-driven content on the web. It provides an overview of the tools and techniques available, including the increasingly popular PHP/MySQL combination, and teaches the practical skills necessary to use them,
2. Approaches to Web-based Content Management (December 15th)
Whether you are publishing your own web pages, managing a web-site or running a web service, an effective content-management strategy could save you time, effort and money.
This workshop introduces the key steps involved in developing an effective web content management solution. The emphasis of the day is on exploring strategies, concepts and techniques to enable participants to appreciate the processes involved and to make realistic decisions about how to manage their content.
