medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Dear medieval-religion colleagues,
I have been following this discussion with interest, and am moved to ask for direction. I would like to know of significant secondary sources you have encountered that deal with the martyrdom of Peter of Verona (aka Peter Martyr). I am especially interested to see the extent to which original sources, as well as modern scholarship, may deal explicitly with political factions.
Thanks, as ever!
George

Thanks Jim. Of course, there is the excellent model (once again a
Dominican) of Peter of Verona (aka Peter Martyr), who as he was dying wrote
on the ground in his own blood "Credo in unum Deum."
