Subject: An Investigation into Free e-Books - Draft report available
Message from Martin Wynne,
Head of AHDS Literature, Languages and Linguistics
**********************************
A draft report has been prepared by AHDS Literature, Languages and
Linguistics for the JISC e-Books Working Group. The report is the result
of a project funded by the JISC to investigate the potential for the use
of available free e-books in teaching and learning in the UK FE and HE
sectors.
A copy of this draft report is available at
http://ahds.ac.uk/litlangling/ebooks/free-e-books.pdf for those AHDS-ALL
subscribers who are interested in reading it. When the report becomes
final, it will properly linked to and freely available on our website.
The report has been submitted to the Working Group for approval, and may
be subject to further changes. Any feedback at this stage would be
gratefully received, as other minor changes can still be incorporated.
Regards,
Martin
