Can anyone help Corey ([log in to unmask])

Good afternoon Mr. Atherton,
I am working with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation on a
television documentary set in India and Nepal between 1930 and 1945.
We are trying to confirm whether a particular village or bazaar existed
near the India-Nepal border during those years. The name of the village
was given to us orally and it sounds like "ANJIT," however, we have no
idea whether the spelling or pronunciation are correct.
Aside from the oral reference, we have no record of such a place. We
thought perhaps your organization might have some topographic or other
maps from the period which might be of assistance.
If you can help us find such maps or refer us to another organziation
or expert who might be able to help, we would be sincerely greatful.
Best regards,
Corey Snook
