We have received a request for a list of all the islands of the British Isles
(without going into too much argument of what constitutes an island, but to
include islands of inhabitable size, whether currently inhabited or not, islands
separate from the mainland only at high tide, and islands joined to the mainland
or one another by bridges or causeways). Any suggestions will be gratefully
received, whether the answer is obvious or impossible.
