The relics of St Tugdual were claimed by Chartres Cathedral in the Middle Ages,
apparently brought there to escape Norman depredations. There was a shrine, and
St Tugdual is represented in the east window of the St Piat Chapel, just off the
chevet of Chartres Cathedral.
