CPI Library and Information Policy Seminar
AIM: to probe the factors to be addressed when preparing a marketing
strategy for a public library service. The seminar will:
- outline the British Libraryıs approach to the marketing of its services,
and draw lessons that might be appropriate for the public library sector;
- identify the issues involved in drafting a marketing strategy, the
opportunities and the challenges, the corporate and political dimensions,
and potential sources of assistance;
- facilitate practical guidance on how to go about it, with credible
experience and evidence of what can work.
TARGET AUDIENCE: officers with marketing responsibilities and other public
library and local government managers, Regional Agencies and government
bodies, library schools, and independent consultants.

car parking at the rear of the hotel.
