medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
goodlord, as the Oldest Living Ab.D. in the Art History department of Indiana
University, i certainly hope not.
do as i *Say* Do, not as i Do :
Buckle Down, keep your Shoulder to the Wheel, your Blinders on, your Nose to
the Grindstone, your Ear to the Ground, Bone Up on the Recieved Opinion,
memorize the Standard Model, eat your Brocolli, and write a diss. which can be
easily split up into no less than four articles and fine-tuned into a book
which will be well-received, all before your theoretically renewable contract
runs out and in plenty of time to get vetted for Tenure.

Thanks, Christopher. I think you may have given us all a philosophy to live by
as researchers!
