Another probable correction to add to the list: If Tertullian mentions
Rutilius in his essay on flight in persecution, either Rutilius lived and
died prior to about 212 CE (as that writing is sometimes dated --
certainly not later than 220) or a later editor has introduced him into
Tertullian's text! The claim that Rutilius died under Decian around 250 is
impossible according to current dating of Tertullian and his writings, I
think.
