Dear Members
I am a WHO research training fellow in systematic reviews. I would like to develop methods of systematic review of basic scientific experiments examining biological plausibility of causation or aetiology. My topic will be 'hyperhomocysteniemia as a cuasal factor for oxidative stress and preeclampsia'.
To my knowledge this type of evidence is seldom reviewed in a systematic way and its quality is not assessed in a robust manner. I have so far unearthed only one example of such a systematic reviews (our searches continue). There is virtually no published literature on quality assessment or good research guidelines for laboratory researchers about methodological things.
i am writing to you in the hope that you will have some knowledge of reviews and methodological guidelines in this field. this will help me develop means to systematically review basic science literature. thanks
