Hi,
What is the plan/timetable for the transition from EDG 1.4 to EDG 2?
The core sites (RAL, CERN, NIKHEF etc.) will presumably go to EDG 2
asap, with other sites joining them as and when they are able. Does
this imply that there will be an overlap period of EDG 1.4 and EDG 2
testbeds, or will the EDG 1.4 testbed simply be 'switched off', with
sites only able to rejoin when they have upgraded?
In particular I am thinking of the status of services such as Resource
Broker, Replica Catalog and MDS. Will, for example, Imperial College be
maintaining an RB at EDG 1.4 until most UK sites have upgraded to EDG 2?
Owen.
