medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
For my part, I'd be interested to know the reasons for the "persecution" by authorities (just too peripatetic, or what?)

Is there any more information about this saint? I can't find him in my
(limited) search areas and I'm curious about a serf "whose lady made him a
priest". That sounds so unusual that there's got to be some sort of story
involved.
