Apologies for the lack of clarity in my earlier message. What I meant by
road test was a formal evaluation of users' experience. I doubt that a trial
has been done (though it could be) so I was wondering if any other form of
evaluation such as an observational study had been performed.
Both SUMsearch and the TRIP database http://www.tripdatabase.com/ provide
a heirarchical search and I have been particularly impressed by the former.
