Dear Colleagues,
Become a Sentinel Reader for Evidence-Based Medicine
If you are in current clinical practice in family practice, please join us as a Sentinel Reader. As a Sentinel Reader, we'll send you, by email, "hot off the press" articles, matched to your interests, at a rate that you can control (e.g. 4 articles per month). You will look over the article and rate it on 2 scales, one for relevance to your clinical practice and the second for newsworthiness(e.g. is this "news" or something you already know?). We'll collate your ratings with at least 2 other colleagues and use you ratings to:
1) build an evidence-based information system for family physicians and internists (the PLUS project)
and
2) choose articles to abstract in Evidence-Based Medicine
We know you'll enjoy the task: it's easy to do and informative. We will show you how your ratings compared with others in your peer group and we will also keep track of your time for CME credits (through McMaster University CME).
For more details or to indicate your interest, please contact us at:
[log in to unmask] with a subject header of "CEBM sentinel".
All good wishes,
Olive
