Would be happy to copy you the one I've been working on for the last few
months once it's signed off, but that won't be for a couple of weeks I'm
afraid. As an interim I'd suggest that you get some real agreement as to
the scope of your strategy. Looking at the various posts it is interesting
to see whether they are IT, Admin or Library based. My reading to date has
suggested that you need to take a more holistic approach and include all
aspects of information from data receipt, creation and processing, through
documentation and e-mail, on to dissemination and storage . However, your
organisation may have a very different view and you may well run into
problems once you start writing strategy that effects the business
processes of others outside your area. , Establishing the scope and
boundaries is essential.
