There is indeed at least one other Saint Pierre - de
Luxembourg, to whom a lovely church in Avignon is
dedicated. However I don't see how anyone could answer
this one except the person who named the street.

I'll do a search for some images of Saint Cloud; there
must be some in France. The "nail" thing is a play on
words: "clou" (nail) and "Cloud" are pronounced
exactly alike: "cloo." There's a similar word play at
work with Saint Marcoul, patron of people with some
sort of skin disease, as "marcoul" = "marque + cou,"
"mark" and "neck."

> and John) identified with the town of Chalon in
> France. But, is there an actual Saint Chalon? Or,
> is it known whence the name derives?
I'm speaking here in ignorance, but I doubt that
"Chalon" derives from a person's name. I'll do a
search and, if you don't receive a response before I
get back to you, I'll let you know what I come up
with. Also there are several towns that begin with
"Chalon": Chalons-sur-Marne, Chalon-sur-Saone, among
others.
