Dear colleagues
The European Institute of Public Administration are repeating their successful
seminar 'Who's afraid of European information' in Maastricht on the 16-18 June
2003.
The course is an introduction to the European Union, its institutions,
policy-making procedures and current challenges + a detailed look at the
information sources of the EU Instititions, the most useful websites for
following EU developments, the work of the EU's Publication Office, and the role
of information and communication in the governance of Europe. In addition, there
is an investigation of the value of the new Registers of Documents and of the
information implications of new regulatory methods in the EU.
Maastricht in June is (usually) very pleasant and the course takes place in a
stimulating international environment where you can meet and network with
colleagues from a large number of countries. The course is specifically
intended for those who need to find information on EU activities.
