Hello All,
As some of you may remember, there is a digital library special interest
group in the IMS, which is looking into how the worlds of digital libraries
and learning objects interact.
One area which they are looking at is the definition of a "minimal set of
metadata tags for all types of reading materials an instructor might
include in a course reading list", which has already come up on this list
as a topic of interest. There will be a conference call on Monday 14 April
to gather requirements for this. The call is by invitation only: if anyone
would like to be invited, please contact me ASAP. If you are not able to
attend, let me know what you think the requirements are, and I will pass
them on.
Best regards, Phil.
