We have had some further instructions which make slightly more sense
:-
I have just had clarification from the BBC's technical staff regarding the
procedure for online voting. Hope the following helps!
People's Network Libraries
Send your initial email from one of your staff PCs using the County
Council's Outlook system.
Someone from the BBC will then phone you up to ask you a few questions.
You will then be instructed to log on to the website and submit the user
name and password you will have then been supplied. This needs to be done
on one of your People's Network PCs. (This will then enable all PN PCs to
be used for voting).
Libraries without the People's Network
If you want to register a staff PC on which to vote on behalf of your
users, follow all instructions on the single PC (e.g. all emails and
website logons). Remember that the public will be able to vote on their
own PCs and phone up with their votes too.
