I was in a meeting with Caroline Bland from Edexcel yesterday and raised
this issue with her. Also, with the number of erratum notices that appear
particularly with Edexcel papers. If these 'extractions' and 'errors' have
to be dealt with a few minutes before the start of the examinations I,
personally, would be here all night. Caroline believes that Edexcel would
be very co-operative when requesting to be able to use our own initiatives
when dealing with these particular issues!! I already use my own initiative
without incurring any security issues!
