I think the problem is the same, whichever board is used, with Edexcel
definitely coming out as public enemy number one! A (significant) minority
of our students use Key Skills with City and Guilds and we have also started
using NCFE for about 300 of our students. The anount of paperwork is
immense. Of course, it would all be worthwhile if the students actually
attended in decent numbers. Until the powers that be recognise that the
whole thing is a massive white elephant, we are stuck with it. No one likes
it, the tutors hate it and of course the students don't take it seriously.
So, someone tell me, what is the point?
