Sally and Bill
I also use Microcompass and have been told to start using it for C&G entries in the coming acadmemic year (and not to make entries online). I don't know where to start! I did hear at the AOC conference last week that Microcompass were developing their facilities for downloading C&G basedata so it may be something that is up and coming in the future.
I'd also appreciate any tips in using Microcompass - especially anyone that has made their Edexcel key skills entries this way!

I am trying to get C&G Basedata so we can do that small thing - our version
of MicroCompass keeps chewing up the files and doing nothing. Did you have
any similar problems? (or any other experiences with MicroCompass and exams
it would be wise to be aware of).
Sorry I'm nowhere near Stockport but I'd be grateful for any tips you can
pass on.

On another subject - does anyone use City & Guilds base data for doing S
Forms from M/compass?
Could I possibly arrange to visit college(s) nearish to us at Stockport over
the next month or so to see how they do things as this is still very new to
me!

Yes, I think it would be a good idea also.
