medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
There was a guy once who tried to convince me that the
Romans used trees with branches lopped off for
crucifixions. Only the horizontal was "finished."
Anyone have any confirmation of this? (Forgive the
intrusion of pre-official list material.)
