Thanks Grace and Patrick
Another concern I have is that having to use EURLEX will not make scanning
of new material, to update clients / users, very easy. At least with the OJ
on-line, you can scan that day's edition(s) and get a quick idea of new
material. Has anyone found an easy way of checking new additions to the
COMDOCs (given that they are not published in numerical order)?

Subject: Re: FW: Are printed COM documents still available on
subscription?
At the EDC co-ordinators meeting in Brussels on Friday/Saturday
28th/1st we were told that supply of COM docs would cease. No
announcement had been made before as discussions were continuing, but
it now seems just a question of the final date. There was not much
optimism that lobbying would produce results - the decision seemed to
have been sprung on the relays unit. Electronic access, particularly
to lengthy COM docs, is far from ideal even if it is fast, but a very
real concern is that the documents may be removed from EUR-Lex at some
stage. EDCs representatives were all concerned about the change and
asked for reassurance that the documents would be permanently archived.
