medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Hi all,
The Society for Medieval Feminist Scholarship will hold two sessions at the
Modern Language Association's annual convention--Dec 27-30, 2003 in San Diego.
For a change of pace, we designated these sessions as Open Topics--Feel
free to send an abstract to me on any subject and I'll put together two
coherent but eclectic sessions that will draw a good crowd. Scholars from
any discipline may participate. If you work in a field other than languages
and literatures, the MLA will waive its (considerable) membership fee, so
you can attend. (Last year's topic was "Women and War" and we had two
interdisciplinary panels, with equal participation from English and History.)
Deadline: March 15
Send abstracts via e-mail to me asap.
Thanks!
