medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Saintwatchers:
Does anyone of saints' lives in which the miracles--either during the saint's lifetime or after the saint's death--are *not* followed by a good effect on the recepient of the miraclous cure? Is it more typical in 13th- and 14th C. vitae for the person cured to have some positive effect, such as a desire to repent or have a deeper faith in God? Do you of any vitae where the saint performs cures and no more is said? I'm interested in vitae of mendicant saints or blessed.
Thanks much!
