medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Ever since I found Thomas' bones in a museum in
Toulouse, it's bothered me. Here, for those with an
interest in relics, is an account of the transfer of
the bones from Saint-Sernin in Toulouse to the Church
of the Jacobins, today a museum, although I do believe
Mass is said there on his feast. BTW, there's a howler
of a mistake in the document: he's called "promoteur
de la Foie," "foie" being the word for "liver," as in
"pâté de..."
