They need to be able to take a strategic view of developments, working with local authority elected members and other organisations and ensuring the technology is used to greatest effect."

BY THE END OF THE SESSION PARTICIPANTS WILL HAVE:
* considered how to keep ICT issues under review as part of a strategic information management approach
* clarified the differences between efficiency measurement and impact assessment in relation to ICT applications
* considered the external and internal imperatives created by increased ICT use, including partnership opportunities and the impact of staffing
* assessed some of the implications of moving towards greater access to information, including legislative issues

CANCELLATION OF CONFIRMED BOOKINGS
As these programmes will be running on a regular basis for the next three years, if for some reason a participant is unable to attend the one-day training course an administrative charge of £25 will be levied, but they must rebook for another date within 3 months.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
