Dear Tom,
what i'm missing from the explanatory texts is
a statement in which way the different versions
of dc-terms interoperate.
I've obtained feedback from other implementors
on our current webpages on the dc-website asserting
confusion about the notion of "replaced" -
It seems "replaced" raises doubts about the
stability of the intended meaning of vocabulary
terms and whether it's been asked whether
versions of declarations of a term have to be
indicated in a record and if so how this should be
done.
I also found myself pondering sometimes
about what is the difference
with declaration "i" compared with "i-1".
Think an entry "changesToPrevious" would be helpful:
Like: Added status information, fixed typo, updated
RFC reference ....
A particular bad example in this respect
is dc:language.
best regards,
rs
