Hi all, I was startled and confused to come across the notion of a 'made up'
disability here! Is this how Larry and others feel some people are beign
marginalised from the whoel disability movement type thing? Or is it
somethign else? I am unclear on the basis for this assertion and hope that
by misunderstanding I am not somehow perpetuating it. Also re what to call
things. I feel it is the meaning attached to the names that matter. Surely
nuerally diverse is helpfull if it is introduced with a posative or at least
more open minded view, wheras if it is taken and used to cmpare to an idea
of 'normal' or used in a derogtry sense it may become unhelpfull. Regards,
Sarah Supple.
