I wonder if he was a medical SHO at Leeds General Infirmary when I did
orthopaedics there (1985). I certainly remember one chap there telling
me a chillingly similar story.
The chap who left Cambridge for a promotion up North (creating the
vacancy for which I was doing a locum) died on the motorway commuting
between Leeds & Cambridge (not at changeover time) some 14 years ago.
Nocturnal work & driving fill me with dread.
