ZOO-ARCHAEOLOGIST, Portsmouth
c. £22,000 per annum
The English Heritage Centre for Archaeology (CfA) provides integrated
services and advice in archaeological fieldwork and science. We are
looking for an experience Archaeozoologist to join our team of
environmental archaeologists in Portsmouth.
You will carry out research into all aspects of zoo-archaeology in
line with our developing research strategy. You will also undertake
analytical work on English Heritage projects, project monitoring,
providing advice, and participating in training and public access
programmes.
A degree in zoo-archaeology, or at least five years relevant
experience is essential. You should have excellent communication
skills, thrive under pressure, and enjoy working within a small team.
