New Netskills E-Learning Workshops
As many of you will be aware, Netskills has been running the 2 workshops
'Effective e-Learning with VLEs' and 'Effective Course Development for
VLEs' throughout the UK over the past 12 months.
Following demand for further training in this area, the materials for
these workshops are currently being developed and expanded to create 3
new workshops:
1. e-Learning: Applying Key Design Concepts with VLEs
2. e-Learning: Creating, Converting and Re-using Content with VLEs
3. e-Learning: Assessment and Communications with VLEs
These new workshops offer a number of benefits :
- They address the need for greater depth of coverage of a range of
topics including assessment, communications and creating and re-using
content
- All e-Learning workshops are now independent and can therefore be
attended in any order
- They will form the basis of a new, nationally recognised Professional
Development Certificate in e-Learning to be launched in September. More
information will be sent out on this accreditation scheme in due course.
The new workshop programme will begin in September, running at various
venues throughout the UK. A full list of forthcoming workshops,
descriptions and booking forms can be found at
http://www.netskills.ac.uk/workshops/forthcoming.html
For a description of the third workshop due for release in the winter,
please see: http://www.netskills.ac.uk/workshops/descriptions/51.html
Further workshops will be added over the autumn so keep an eye out on
our forthcoming workshops page or join the Netskills News list, also at
the web address above.
Important Note:
These new workshops do NOT correspond exactly to the two VLE workshops
we have been running this year. Whilst some of the topics are the same,
all material has been developed and significantly expanded to provide
more in-depth coverage. All 3 of the new workshops are therefore
relevant to anyone who has attended either 'Effective e-Learning with
VLEs' or 'Effective Course Development for VLEs'. Please see the
workshop descriptions at the above web addresses for further
information.
Kind Regards
