Please respond to
Concerned with the initial
learning and teaching of
statistics
I use to teach introductory statistics at the UWI in Trinidad. I have found
sound examples in the students area will normally keep their attention.
Make
them work problems in class---it helps. In addition I strongly suggest the
introductory stats text by a guy at Purdue University, I believe it has a
pizza on the front cover.
